Who won biryani, pizza or burger?
Swiggy, a platform that delivers food items on online orders, said in a report that in the year 2025, Indians will eat a lot of biryani, burgers, pizza and dosa. The 10th edition of How India Swiggy Report highlights the year’s food delivery based on orders placed by users on the platform. It has been reported in the report that in the year 2025, 9.3 crore biryani orders were ordered, which remained the favorite of the users, followed by 4.42 crore orders of burger, 4.01 crore orders of pizza and 2.62 crore orders of dosa.
9 times increase in orders for Pahari Food
The thing is that this year there has been a lot of craze for Pahari food among the people. It has been said in the report that there is love for local food. Pahari food increased 9 times. Which is a surprising thing. On the other hand, orders from Malabar, Rajasthani, Malvani and other regional mines have also seen an increase of almost double in the last one year.

According to the report, people order more food at night i.e. during dinner compared to the day. The report said that dinner orders were about 32 percent more than lunch orders. The report further said that international food items also joined in, with Mexican (16 million orders), Tibetan (over 12 million orders), Korean (47 lakh orders) becoming consumers’ favourites.
