UP Man Suicide In Hotel: In Barabanki, a young man committed suicide by hanging himself in a hotel room after posting a photo of his dead wife and an emotional message on his WhatsApp status. Police are investigating the matter and post mortem report is awaited.
WhatsApp Status Suicide Case: A very painful and mysterious case has come to light from Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. Here a 27-year-old young man posted a photo of his dead wife on his WhatsApp status, wrote an emotional message along with it and a few hours later committed suicide by hanging himself in his hotel room. This incident remains a matter of discussion and surprise in the area. The deceased has been identified as Alok Verma, who was a resident of Jalalpur village in Barabanki. His body was found hanging from a fan in a room of OYO Hotel in Radhe Nagar area.
What was written in WhatsApp status that surprised everyone?
According to family members and police, Alok Verma had posted WhatsApp status before suicide. In this status he had posted the photo of his first wife, who had already passed away. Along with the photo he had written – “I am coming to you… everyone please forgive me.” Many people became apprehensive after seeing this status, but by then it was too late. This message is now being considered as the biggest sign of this suicide.
What happened in the hotel room? Why did the mobile keep ringing?
According to the hotel manager, Alok Verma used to visit this hotel frequently for the last few months. He used to take the room two to three times a week. On Monday night around 9:30 pm, he booked room number 110 and went to his room. When the door did not open till around 10 am on Tuesday morning, the hotel staff became suspicious. The sound of mobile phone ringing continuously was coming from inside the room, but there was no answer from inside. After this the hotel management informed the police.
What did you see as soon as the door opened?
When the door of the room was opened in the presence of the police, everyone was stunned to see the scene inside. Alok Verma’s body was hanging from the fan with a plastic rope. Forensic team was called on the spot and investigation was started.
The young man had two marriages, then why suicide?
According to family members, Alok Verma had two marriages. The first wife had passed away. After his second marriage his family life was going normal. Family members say that he was behaving absolutely normally and was not showing any signs of stress or distress. This is why his suicide shocked the entire family.
Is it just suicide or some other reason?
At present the police is investigating the case as a suicide, but all aspects are being investigated. SHO of City Police Station Sudhir Kumar Singh said that the real cause of death will be known only after the post mortem report comes. This case has left many questions, for example – was the young man going through some internal stress? What was WhatsApp status’s last clue? Was the pain of his first wife’s death still haunting him? The answers to all these questions will now emerge only through police investigation and post mortem report.
