The curation of the Rashtra Prerna Sthal Museum built in Lucknow has been completed. Built in 98 thousand square feet, this museum has 5 galleries and 5 courtyards. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate it on December 25.
Lucknow. The curation work of the grand museum of Rashtra Prerna Sthal dedicated to the triumvirate of nationalism Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay and revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been completed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this Prerna Sthal on December 25. All preparations for the inauguration ceremony are in the final stages.
Modern museum block built in 98 thousand square feet
The museum block has been constructed by Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) on an area of 98000 square feet in the Rashtra Prerna Sthal complex. The curation work of the museum has been done by Pan Intel Com Company. This museum will become a medium to convey the thoughts and life values of the national heroes to future generations.
The museum has 5 galleries and 5 courtyards.
The museum has been developed in two floors, in which 5 galleries, 5 courtyards, 12 interpretation walls, VVIP green room have been constructed.
Inspirational stories of national heroes will be seen in the orientation room.
The first gallery of the museum has been designed as an orientation room. Here, important and inspirational incidents related to the lives of national heroes will be shown through video and audio-visual medium.
The journey from Bharatiya Jana Sangh to nation building
The second gallery depicts the establishment of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, its ideas and development journey. This gallery presents the history of organizational nationalism in a simple and effective manner.
Galleries dedicated to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Atal Bihari Bajpayee
The third gallery of the museum is dedicated to: Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the fourth gallery: Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay and the fifth gallery: Rev. Atal Bihari Vajpayee. In these galleries, inspiring incidents from the lives of national heroes have been presented in a lively form through photographs, newspaper cuttings, silicone sculptures and rare materials.
Replicas of Bharat Mata, Deepak and Sudarshan Chakra
Grand replicas of Bharat Mata, Jan Sangh’s symbol lamp and Sudarshan Chakra have been installed in three courtyards on the first floor of the museum. A 10 feet tall statue has been installed in Bharat Mata Courtyard and ‘Vande Mataram’ is engraved on the wall.
Clothes and accessories used by national heroes displayed
In the courtyard on the second floor, items like cots, tables, chairs and sticks used by the national heroes have been kept for public viewing, so that the visitors can feel a direct connection with their lives.
12 interpretation walls depicting the freedom struggle
The journey of the Indian freedom struggle, great personalities and nationalism has been effectively depicted through murals and relief art on the 12 interpretation walls built in the museum. Lines from a nationally inspirational poem by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee are also inscribed on one wall.
Instilling the spirit of nationalism in future generations
This museum dedicated to national heroes will work to strengthen the spirit of nationalism, inspiration and service among the youth and future generations in the times to come. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate it to the nation on 25 December.
