Delhi High Court granted bail to former MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, who is serving life imprisonment in the Unnao rape case, while staying his sentence. Sengar has been released on a personal bond of Rs 15 lakh, but a condition has been imposed that he will not be able to come within 5 km radius of the victim. Sengar will have to surrender his passport and attend the police station every Monday. The court has given strict instructions that he will not threaten the victim or her family.
