Jalore Panchayat Mobile Ban: A panchayat in Rajasthan district has banned the use of smartphones by women in 15 villages. From January 26, sisters and daughters will now be prohibited from using mobile phones with internet.
‘The whole world is contained in the smartphone’, it has become a necessity for everyone from children to the elderly. But imagine if such an order comes that smart phones are banned from today, your world will be shaken. A similar order of Tughlaq has been given by a panchayat in Jalore district of Rajasthan, regarding which a controversy has arisen. The Panchayat has banned the use of camera mobiles for women in 15 villages.
Daughters-in-law and daughters of 15 villages will not use smart phones
Actually, this surprising decision has been given in the Panchayat of Chaudhary community of Sundhamata Patti of Jalore district. The Panchayat has decided that the daughters-in-law of 15 villages will no longer use smartphones with cameras. It has also been said that this order will be implemented from January 26. Now opposition to this decision of the Panchayat has also started. This decree has sparked a new debate regarding the Constitution and women’s rights.
Will use only keypad mobile
Let us tell you that the Panchayat clearly said that whether there is a young daughter or a daughter-in-law in the house, or a newly-wed bride, everyone will have to stay away from mobile phones with internet. Not only this, women are not only prevented from taking mobile phones to public events and weddings, but they cannot even take this smart phone to their neighbour’s house. It has been said in the decision that if she wants to talk to any family or relative, she can only use the keypad mobile. Or girls studying can use smart mobiles inside the house if necessary.
That’s why the Panchayat took this big decision
Sujanaram Chaudhary told that the Panchayat has taken this decision because women having mobile phones with internet will have a bad effect on their small children. Their eyesight will also be reduced and their ability to read and write on their own will also be reduced. Not only this, he says that it will also have a bad effect on the child who has not come into this world with a smart phone, i.e. who is in the mother’s womb.
