Condition in Uttarkashi worsened

After the Harshil Valley, the situation has become very serious due to the formation of a lake in the Yamuna river in Uttarkashi. The flow of Yamuna stopped due to heavy debris in Kupra Gadere at Sianachatti, Yamunotri Dham. Due to this, many government buildings, hotels, homestands and shops have been submerged. The local administration immediately evacuated the buildings and sent people to safe places. The bridge connecting the Yamunotri highway has also been submerged with contact with the district headquarters. There is a danger of boom in Gadere in height areas and rains.
