Question: When should husband and wife separate?
Premanand Ji Maharaj’s answer – No matter how quarrelsome the wife is, the husband should not abandon her. But if he is an adulterer, then in such a situation it is considered appropriate to abandon him. No matter how rich and beautiful he is, he should be left behind. But never let go of other shortcomings. Similarly, if the husband has relations with other women and is adulterous, the wife also has the right to divorce him. Such is the scripture’s command.

Answer: Premanand Ji Maharaj laughingly said that although I am not an expert in this, but according to the scriptures, if you fulfill the wishes of your wife and never behave contrary to her wishes, then she naturally becomes subservient to you. Also, one should not have any kind of relationship with other women. If you fulfill your wife’s wishes but have a relationship with another woman, then your wife will never like you. Therefore, seeing God in your wife, love her. If he ever behaves unfavorably, you calm down by smiling. This is the only way to keep your wife happy, and there is no other solution.
