After a day of improvement, Delhi’s air has again reached dangerous levels. Breathing while going for a picnic in the morning is not free from danger. Delhi’s air quality index has increased to 349 on Sunday morning. The AQI of many areas has almost crossed 400. There is a fog-like haze in the atmosphere. There will be no significant change in the weather. According to IMD, the sky will be clear and there will be sunshine during the day.
There is currently no alert regarding weather in Delhi. There will be a feeling of mild cold in the morning and evening, while there will be bright sunshine during the day. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of Delhi is likely to be 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be 19 degrees Celsius. The weather will remain like this till Diwali. According to IMD bulletin, the temperature will start falling from 30-31 October. By the third week of November, the effect of cold will increase and people will start using quilts and blankets.
AQI crosses 400 in many areas of Delhi
Delhi’s air had improved on Saturday. But by Sunday morning it again became poisonous. According to Safar India, till 7 am the air quality index of Delhi was recorded at 349. In Anand Vihar, Jahangirpuri, Vivek Vihar, Nehru Nagar and Sonia Vihar areas, AQI was recorded above 400, which is in the very severe category. People are getting troubled by the continuously deteriorating air. Elderly people and children are facing problems like difficulty in breathing and cough. The situation is likely to worsen after Diwali.
