Chinese Ambassador to India, Shoo Faihong, termed America as “Dhoniya” and said that the US has been taking advantage of free trade for a long time, but now it has been using tariffs as a bargain tact. He said that America has imposed a tariff of up to 50% on India and China strongly opposed this step. He further said that keeping silent will give further boost to Dhoniya and he stressed that China will stand firmly with India.

Talking about opening the Chinese market for India, Faihong said that the two countries can make great progress with the exchange of goods in each other’s markets. Faihong said, “We will welcome the arrival of more Indian goods in the Chinese market. India is strong in the field of IT, software and biomedicin, while China is developing rapid growth in the field of electronic and renewable energy. He further said,” If both major markets are connected to each other, then there will be more impact. ” Faihong further said that China would like Indian companies to invest in China and at the same time they also expected a proper environment for Chinese companies in the country.

Tariff for purchase of Russian oil

A few days ago, the US announced a huge tariff of 50 percent on the import of select Indian goods. In this, a recipe of 25 percent has been imposed for purchasing Russian oil and 25 percent tariffs. America believes that India is helping Russia in the war with Ukraine by purchasing crude oil. These tariffs will be applicable from August 27.
