In a disturbing incident in Bengaluru’s Indiranagar, a woman identified as Sonam allegedly assaulted traffic police officers near the ESI Hospital junction.
The altercation, which began with an argument involving a motorcyclist, quickly escalated when Sonam turned her aggression toward the traffic officers. She reportedly kicked and verbally abused one of the cops, attempting to grab his body camera while shouting threats in Hindi, stating, “All the cops standing here would lose their job.” The shocking episode was recorded and widely circulated online, with many questioning the inaction of other officers present. Following the incident, authorities registered an FIR against Sonam, and further investigations are ongoing. Some sources suggest that she may be dealing with mental health challenges, which might have influenced her behaviour.
