Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a big revelation in the Assembly today regarding the cough syrup case containing codeine. While presenting the evidence in the House, he said that the accused in this entire case are connected to the Samajwadi Party. The Chief Minister clearly said that no one will be spared in this matter.
Kingpin of codeine cough syrup case, Alok Sipahi ‘Pakka Sapai’
The Chief Minister said that the kingpin of this episode, Alok Sipahi, is associated with the Samajwadi Party. He also showed the photo and said that the photo of another accused Amit Yadav is present with Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav. Amit Yadav has been associated with Yuvjan Sabha of Samajwadi Party.
Vibhor Rana’s license was issued during SP government
The Chief Minister told in the House that the drug license of accused Vibhor Rana was issued during the Samajwadi Party government. At the same time, Alok Sipahi, associated with SP, has been dismissed by the present BJP government. This entire matter is being investigated by the SIT formed under the leadership of Inspector General of Police.
SIT action in Codeine cough syrup case, case under NDPS Act
The Chief Minister said that so far 332 firms have been raided in the codeine cough syrup case. A case has been registered against 136 firms under the NDPS Act and more than 77 people have been arrested. The court has also justified this action.
Yogi government on zero tolerance policy
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath clearly said that his government is working on a policy of zero tolerance in this matter. He said, “Milk will turn into milk and water into water.” No culprit will be given political protection.
Counterattack on SP: Everyone knows who has links with mafia.
Targeting the Samajwadi Party, the Chief Minister said that the people of the state know who has connections with the mafia. UP Police investigation has revealed that Shubham Jaiswal, a major accused in the codeine cough syrup case, is also associated with the Samajwadi Party.

The Chief Minister said that Shubham Jaiswal and Amit Yadav are business partners. He has also been associated with Samajwadi Party’s Yuvajan Sabha. Milind Yadav is also a part of this network, who is said to be close to Shubham Jaiswal.
Evidence also found in GST and bank transactions
The Chief Minister said that Milind Yadav’s phone number is registered in the GST registration of Shaili Traders. Also, there is strong evidence that wrongful transactions have been made from the accounts of Amit and Milind Yadav to the accounts of Shaili Traders.
Role of SP leaders in illegal diversion of codeine cough syrup
The Chief Minister claimed that Manoj Yadav, Rajiv Yadav and Mukesh Yadav are directly involved in the illegal diversion of codeine cough syrup. Information about Amit Yadav traveling to Dubai in 2024 has also come to light.

Responding to the uproar of the opposition, the Chief Minister said that when action will be taken against the accused belonging to SP, the people of SP will be the first to go to read Fatiha. Samajwadi Party knows how strictly our government takes action.
No production of codeine cough syrup in UP, no death
The Chief Minister clarified that cough syrup containing codeine is neither produced in Uttar Pradesh nor has anyone died due to its use in the state. The case pertains to illegal diversion, trading and storage of medicines.
Cough syrup is produced in Tamil Nadu
The Chief Minister said that according to the Central Narcotics Bureau, in the states where deaths have occurred due to cough syrup, it is produced in Tamil Nadu. Despite this, the FSDA department in UP has examined more than 1000 cough syrup samples.
Names of main accused kept in the assembly
The Chief Minister also presented the names of the main accused in this case in the House. These include Shubham Jaiswal, Bhola Jaiswal and Akash Pathak associated with Shaili Traders Pharma of Varanasi, Vibhor Rana of Abart Health Care of Saharanpur, Saurabh Tyagi, Abhishek Sharma, Vishal Upadhyay, Tapan Yadav and Shadab of Ghaziabad. Apart from this, Manohar Jaiswal of Lucknow and Imran of Bio Hub were also said to be the kingpins of this episode.
