While presenting the evidence in the House, he said that the accused in this entire case are connected to the Samajwadi Party. The Chief Minister clearly said that no one will be spared in this matter.

Kingpin of codeine cough syrup case, Alok Sipahi ‘Pakka Sapai’

The Chief Minister said that the kingpin of this episode, Alok Sipahi, is associated with the Samajwadi Party. He also showed the photo and said that the photo of another accused Amit Yadav is present with Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav. Amit Yadav has been associated with Yuvjan Sabha of Samajwadi Party.

Vibhor Rana’s license was issued during SP government

The Chief Minister told in the House that the drug license of accused Vibhor Rana was issued during the Samajwadi Party government. At the same time, Alok Sipahi, associated with SP, has been dismissed by the present BJP government. This entire matter is being investigated by the SIT formed under the leadership of Inspector General of Police.

SIT action in Codeine cough syrup case, case under NDPS Act

The Chief Minister said that so far 332 firms have been raided in the codeine cough syrup case. A case has been registered against 136 firms under the NDPS Act and more than 77 people have been arrested. The court has also justified this action.

The Chief Minister said that according to the Central Narcotics Bureau, in the states where deaths have occurred due to cough syrup, it is produced in Tamil Nadu. Despite this, the FSDA department in UP has examined more than 1000 cough syrup samples.

The Chief Minister also presented the names of the main accused in this case in the House. These include Shubham Jaiswal, Bhola Jaiswal and Akash Pathak associated with Shaili Traders Pharma of Varanasi, Vibhor Rana of Abart Health Care of Saharanpur, Saurabh Tyagi, Abhishek Sharma, Vishal Upadhyay, Tapan Yadav and Shadab of Ghaziabad. Apart from this, Manohar Jaiswal of Lucknow and Imran of Bio Hub were also said to be the kingpins of this episode.
