New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a jibe at the Samajwadi Party leader, Akhilesh Yadav, and Congress chief Rahul Gandhi at a state Assembly session.
Yogi named both leaders as specimens by stating, ‘desh ke andar do namune hai’ (There are two specimens in the country). The harsh remarks came after SP and BJP were involved in a heated debate in the Assembly over the alleged illegal trade of codeine-based cough syrup, where SP protested against the ruling party inside and outside the House.
“Desh ke andar do namune hain’. One sits in Delhi and the other sits in Lucknow. When there is any discussion in the country, they immediately flee the country, and I think the same thing is happening with your ‘Babua’. He will also leave the country again for a trip to England, and you people will keep shouting here,” Yogi Adityanath stated during the winter session.
