He said- ‘There was a desire in my mind. I had also shared his name but the director did not want an item song which would seem outside the story. He believed that if there was only one girl then the attention would shift from the story to her. Therefore two girls were kept. If Tamanna had been there then everyone’s focus would have been on her and this would have spoiled the story. Vijay further said that the wedding reception scene of Ranveer and Sara Arjun was very special and there was much more to it than the dance number. Aditya sir did not want the attention to be diverted from the story even for a few minutes. That’s why he had taken this decision regarding the song ‘Shararat’.
