Kolkata. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat expressed concern over the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh and said that the Hindus there have to remain united. Addressing a program organized in Kolkata, he said that Hindus around the world should help Bangladeshi Hindus in every possible way. He said that the only country for Hindus is India. The Indian government should take cognizance of the incident in Bangladesh. It is possible that the government may be taking some steps at its level. Not everything can be made public.
If Hindus unite, the situation will change in Bengal.
Mohan Bhagwat said that if the Hindu society comes together then the situation in Bengal can change. As far as talking about political change is concerned, I clearly say that it is not our job to think about political change. We are working towards bringing social change through the Sangh. On the question of Hindu nation, Mohan Bhagwat said that whoever considers India as his motherland and respects Indian culture, as long as there is even one such person alive on Indian soil, India is a Hindu nation. This is the ideology of the Sangh.

Mohan Bhagwat said that even if the Parliament amends the Constitution and adds the word (Hindu) or not, it does not make any difference to us. We do not care about that word, because we are Hindus and our nation is a Hindu nation. This is the truth. The caste system based on birth is not the identity of Hindutva.
Attempt to instigate conflict by building a mosque in the name of Babar
Mohan Bhagwat said, there was a dispute going on for a long time, which later reached the court. The court gave its verdict on the basis of all the evidence and Ram temple was built there. The fight ended as soon as the Ram temple was built. But now a political conspiracy is being hatched to restart that fight by building Babri Masjid. All this is happening for votes. This will neither benefit Hindus nor Muslims.
Is it right to build temple-mosque with government money?
When Bhagwat was asked whether it was right to build religious places with government money, he said that the government should not build temples or any religious places. When Somnath temple was built, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was the Home Minister. The President attended its inauguration, but no government money was used. Similarly, the Supreme Court also asked the government to form a trust for the construction of Ram temple. It is not the government’s money, but the public’s money.
