New Delhi: Rajinikanth’s Hum co-star Shilpa Shirodkar has just watched his latest blockbuster Coolie and super impressed with him. She said, ” Yes i watched Coolie and i loved it. I think Rajni Sir is as amazing as ever. “Shilpa said, “I had the good fortune of working with Sir in my early years.. he is a school for many, a inspiration to millions.”
As we all know that Hum was produced by Amitabh Bachchan’s friend Romesh Sharma and was extensively shot in Mauritius. Shilpa recalls, “One of the kindest human beings I have met, i remember in Mauritius we were shooting I think for more then 40 days.. we used to all meet down for breakfast.”
She adds, “Before we left for the shoot, and every morning sir used to wish my Maa and me in Marathi a very good morning. He used to go to every unit member and wish them.” Shilpa also reveals that she assisted on one of the songs and how Rajnikanth followed her instructions.
She said, “One time Rekha Chinni Prakash wasnt keeping well and there was a club dance and action sequence to be shot, so i opted to assist Chinni Master ji for that day, Rajni sir was so cute and used to follow all the instructions so nicely, he never threw tantrums, always came on or before time and valued everyone on set.”
