Do Gallstones Affect Urination?: The gallstones are solid particles formed in the gallbladder, which are mainly formed by the deposition of cholesterol, bile salt and bilirubin. The gall bladder is to store the bile juice made to digest fat. When the amount of cholesterol in the body is high, the umbrella of bile juice or the gall bladder is not completely empty, then the stone starts forming. This problem is found more in women than men, especially in pregnant women or those over 40 years of age. Bile stone can cause many problems in the body. The most common symptom is severe pain in the upper right side of the abdomen, which can often spread to the back or shoulder. Apart from this, the patient may feel nauseous, vomiting, indigestion and heaviness repeatedly. If the stone blocks the bile duct, then the flow of bile stops, which causes jaundice. In this, the eyes and skin turn yellow. Fever and chills are also possible due to frequent infection. Failure of prolonged treatment can also cause gallbladder swelling, infection or its burst, which can prove to be severe and fatal. Therefore, timely investigation and treatment is very important.

Its quantity starts increasing in the blood and then reaches the urin, due to which the urine starts to appear thick yellow or sometimes brown. This change is one of the major symptoms of jaundice. The patient may also feel discomfort, irritation or foul smell while urinating.
Along with this, symptoms such as yellowing of eyes and skin, nausea, frequent vomiting, swelling in the stomach and loss of appetite can also be seen. If the stone is bigger and blocks the gall bladder completely, then this situation can be more serious. Therefore, if the color of urin starts to look dark or unusual, do not take it lightly and contact the doctor immediately.
