Laddoo Gopal Eye Test: For the first time at the Ramdevra Bhadwa fair, the devotee Manfuli Devi got the eyes of her laddus Gopal examined. Thousands of devotees are getting free investigation and medicines in this Netra Mahakumbh camp, where a unique confluence of faith and medicine was seen.
Ramdevra Mela Health Camp: The eye Mahakumbh camp at the Bhadwa fair saw a scene on Wednesday that made everyone emotional. Manfuli Devi, an elderly devotee of Jaipur, also took her adorable Laddu Gopal along with his eyes to examine. He registered the name “Laddu Gopal Ji”, birth date “Janmashtami” and address “Jagannath Temple” in the registration form.
Amazing confluence of faith and medicine
During the eye examination, Manfuli Devi said that devotees consider their presiding deity to be alive and make their service a part of life. Wake up in the morning, feeding and sleeping at night – all this is part of their routine. In this sense, he also got an inquiry into the intention of providing health benefits to God. This moment was very amazing for the people present in the camp.
Thousands of devotees are getting facilities
A large number of devotees are reaching this eye camp in the Ramsarovar pond complex. More than 250 people registered on Wednesday. Here Dr. Raghavendra Dadhich and his team are examining patients with modern machines. Free medicines and glasses are also being provided to those coming to the camp.
More than 43 thousand registration so far
- So far, 43,456 devotees have registered in this camp, which started from 1 August. Out of these, more than 42,500 investigation has been completed. After investigation, glasses were distributed to more than 36 thousand patients and free medicines to more than 33 thousand people. Looking at the prevalence of the camp, it can be said that it is not only a healthcare but a big public welfare campaign.
- Along with the Netra Mahakumbh, Ayurvedic and Homeopathic medicine centers are also being operated here. So far more than 2,200 patients have taken homeopathic consultation, while around 2,000 people have benefited from Ayurvedic treatment.
- The Ramdevara Mela has been a symbol of faith and tradition for centuries, but this time this unique confluence of health services is being seen here. Such a wonderful combination of reverence and service rarely appears elsewhere.
