Haryana CM Naib Singh Saini met the businessmen of Delhi. Citing the crowding of Delhi markets, he announced the creation of a world class commercial market in Haryana and invited traders to invest.

New Delhi [भारत]June 29 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday interacted with wholesale traders from various markets in Delhi at Haryana Bhawan in Delhi. He said that a world class commercial market with excellent infrastructure facilities would be established in Haryana. He invited businessmen to invest in Haryana in large numbers.

Representatives of 26 trade associations, including electronics, marble, dry fruits and iron markets, interacted with the chief minister and shared their suggestions, a release said.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that it is his good fortune that he is among those who keep the economic system of the country moving. Be it farmers or industrialists, it is the business community that ensures that products reach every nook and corner of the country. He congratulated and congratulated all the traders for their invaluable contribution.

New commercial hub to be built near Delhi

The Chief Minister said that in view of the crowd and lack of space in the markets of Delhi, the Haryana Government has decided to develop a large commercial market and a complete industrial ecosystem in the areas adjacent to Delhi. This will provide traders with a spacious and well-equipped trading environment.

He informed that the traders of the dry fruit market of Amritsar have already purchased about 280 plots, paving the way for the establishment of a big dry fruit market in Haryana. Similarly, businessmen from Ludhiana have purchased around 180 plots.

The new market will have a distinct global identity and will play an important role in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of ‘Developed India’. It will be developed keeping the next 50 years in mind with wide roads and modern infrastructure to facilitate mobility. It will be a green and pollution free market where families can also come to visit and spend time.

Saini said a proposal has been prepared to develop a “NaMo City” on about 5,000 acres, which will provide state-of-the-art facilities to traders as well as the general public.

Government’s full support to investors

He said that traders and entrepreneurs not only do business but also create employment, provide services and build trust in the society. A single businessman often employs hundreds of people – they are not job seekers, but job providers.

The Chief Minister said the government is providing customized incentive packages, employment-linked incentives, single-window clearance and time-bound approvals for large investors. The objective of the government is to ensure that every investor feels the full support of the Haryana Government.

He said that Maruti’s big manufacturing plant near Rai is now ready and about one million vehicles will be produced here annually. Additionally, an IMT and Electric Vehicle Zone is being developed at Kharkhoda. Also, construction of a large horticulture market in 600 acres is going on in full swing, which will be connected to Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

He assured the traders that the Haryana government will ensure that they do not face any difficulty and the doors of the Chief Minister’s office will always be open to address their concerns.

Haryana an ideal environment for business: Rao Narbir

Haryana Industries Minister Rao Narbir said that there is a huge crowd in the markets of Delhi. Haryana Government is developing dedicated industrial clusters to provide better facilities to traders. He assured that businessmen investing in Haryana will get all the facilities they expect.

He highlighted Haryana’s strong law and order situation, excellent road connectivity and the fact that 14 districts of the state fall in the NCR region. He said that Haryana provides an ideal environment for both business and traders. He also appealed to businessmen to invest in the state in large numbers. (ANI)
