It is said that a daughter loves her father the most. Although we have seen many lovely moments of father and daughter, but recently we saw such a scene which left everyone’s eyes moist.
When the one and a half year old daughter came to bid her last farewell to her martyred father, only ‘Papa-Papa’ was coming out of her mouth, but how did that innocent child know that now in her life she would never be able to hear her father’s voice.
Actually, Constable Amjad Ali Khan was martyred in an ongoing operation against terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. He was cremated with state honors on Wednesday. When the mortal remains of the martyred soldier reached home, his daughter came to bid her last farewell to her father. Seeing her father’s dead body, she kept calling Papa…Papa…but no voice came from the front.
This innocent child thought that his father was sleeping. She is just staring at her father and looking at her crying mother with surprise. Little does he know that in a moment his entire family has fallen apart. Whoever’s voice of his, ‘Papa…Papa…’ reached my ears, the tears did not stop. The innocence of this girl and the helplessness of her martyred father made the entire nation emotional today.
