The complete schedule of Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL) Season 2 has been released. From December 24, 2025, 12 teams will face each other in 69 matches at the Noida Indoor Stadium. The final will be played on 10 January 2026.
Resonating breaths on the mat, matches turning in the last second and roaring spectators… Uttar Pradesh’s Kabaddi is once again going to return with full enthusiasm. Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL) has released the complete match schedule of its second season. This league, which will start from December 24 at Noida Indoor Stadium, will run till January 10, 2026, in which 12 teams from the state will compete for the title.
Grand inauguration on 24th December, two big matches will be held on the first day
UPKL Season 2 will begin on 24 December 2025 with the opening ceremony and an exhibition match. The first matches of the league will be played on the same day, in which Lucknow Lions will face Kashi Kings, while in the second match, Sangam Challengers and Purvanchal Panthers will face each other.

12 teams, 69 matches and four matches daily
A total of 12 teams will participate in this season and 67 matches will be played in the league stage. After this, the playoff and final match for third place will be held on January 10, 2026. The league stage matches will run from 24 December to 9 January. Four matches will be played every day from 5 pm to 10 pm, giving the viewers continuous thrill of prime time Kabaddi.
Teams from every part of the state are in the field
Teams like Lucknow Lions, Kashi Kings, Kanpur Warriors, JD Noida Ninjas, Ganga Kings of Mirzapur, Aligarh Tigers, Gajab Ghaziabad, Yamuna Yoddhas, Bridge Stars, Awadh Ramdoot, Sangam Challengers and Purvanchal Panthers are participating in the league. With this, the entire state will be represented in the league.
Final will be held on January 10, champion will be decided
After the league stage, knockout matches will be played on 10 January 2026. First there will be a fight for the third place, after which the top two teams will fight for the title in the final. There is already excitement among Kabaddi lovers about the final match.
The thrill of Kabaddi will be seen on TV and digital also
UPKL Season 2 will be telecast live on Zee Bollywood, &Pictures HD and Anmol Cinema 2. At the same time, live streaming of all the matches will be available on ZEE5, so that viewers across the country will be able to enjoy every match.
Attempt to give a new identity to Kabaddi
The objective of Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League is to give a professional platform to the traditional game of Kabaddi in the state, to bring forward grassroots talent and to strengthen the sports culture. With the second season of the league, UPKL has taken a strong step towards establishing itself as a big sports league of the state.
Now the eyes are fixed on 24th December, when the whistle will blow on the mats of Noida and UP’s Kabaddi will once again be seen in full swing.
