According to reports, at least 4 terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire that followed the attack. According to eyewitnesses, a loud bang was followed by sudden firing as the terrorists were trying to enter the military base. According to security officials, the military battalion headquarters in Miranshah was attacked when a suicide bomber blew up the outer wall of the camp with an explosive. After this the rebels were trying to forcibly enter the premises.
Tehreek-e-Taliban intensified attacks on Pakistan
