Indresh Upadhyay On Premanand Maharaj: Famous storyteller Indresh Upadhyay took seven trips with Shipra Sharma, a resident of Haryana, to the Taj Amer Hotel in Jaipur this month. Their marriage made a lot of headlines. Many famous sages and saints attended the wedding of storyteller Indresh Upadhyay. Although, Premanand Maharaj did not attend this marriage, but he has a lot of love and affection for Indresh Upadhyay.
An example of this was seen in the meeting of Premanand Maharaj and Indresh Upadhyay’s father Krishna Chandra Thakur ji. During a Bhagwat Katha, narrator Indresh Upadhyay told about the Dakshina sent by Premanand Maharaj. Narrator Indresh Upadhyay said, ‘Look, we have just received our Dakshina and this has been sent by Pujya Shri Premanand Maharaj of Kelikunj.’

While praising the nature of Indresh Upadhyay, Premananda Maharaj had said that his nature is of soft Maha Bhagwat form. Our saints, mahatmas and Vaishnavs all love him like a soul. Once he reaches someone, he makes him his own. Why did Premanand Maharaj not attend Indresh Maharaj’s marriage? This question arose in everyone’s mind.
Actually Premanand ji has taken retirement from the field. He has taken a vow that his body will not leave the Braj region. They live in the 84 kos area of Braj.
