Brandon Nimmo injury details
Brandon Nimmo spoke to the media about his injury after the game and revealed what made him leave the game in the second inning. He revealed that the neck stiffness is a chronic condition in his baseball career, and it usually heals within 24 to 48 hours.
“When I was running in, I wasn’t able to look up. So I was being a detriment on both ends,” Nimmo said, the Associated Press reported. “Sometimes I can fight through it in the past, and I wasn’t able to.”
“It’s just unfortunately a chronic thing that I’m going to have to deal with for the rest of my career,” he added. “And we’ve been able to do a pretty good job of keeping it at bay for the most part.”
