RamMandir Donation Controversy: There is an uproar across the country regarding the theft of donations in Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Crores of Ram devotees are ‘shocked, hurt and deeply saddened’ by these incidents. People are saying that those who were made protectors of charity have today turned out to be eaters. The matter has become so big that now only the Supreme Court will decide on it. SBI has reached Ayodhya to investigate the accounts of 8 accused who are in jail. Meanwhile, the lawyers of Ayodhya have taken a big decision today regarding Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra (Trust).
Ultimatum to Champat Rai to leave Ayodhya
Lawyers of Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram, held a meeting on Monday regarding the case of theft of donations and donations from the Ram temple. In this, all the lawyers decided with mutual consent that no lawyer would fight the case of those accused of theft of offerings. Also demanded that Champat Rai, Gopal Rao and Anil Mishra leave Ayodhya. These lawyers said – If he does not leave Ram’s city, there will be an agitation against him.

- The Trust of Shri Ram Temple assured the devotees that there will be a fair investigation into the matter and all the offerings received by the temple are completely safe and their complete accounts are available. All the valuables given by the devotees, like silver bars and jewellery, are completely safe and properly accounted for.
- The Trust said, “We are shocked, hurt and deeply saddened by the incidents reported in the last few days regarding Shri Ram Mandir (Ayodhya). We are committed to ensuring a fair investigation and to reassure the devotees. The resignations of Champat Rai and Trustee Anil Mishra have been received. The Trust will decide in its next meeting what action will be taken against them.”
