Sawan Month Preparations: Sawan is considered to be the fifth month of Hindi calendar. This month has been described as very sacred in the scriptures. The month of Sawan has been dedicated to Mahadev, the god of gods. In this month, special worship of Lord Shiva and Jalabhishek is done. Fasts are also started on 16 Mondays in the month of Sawan. Lord Shiva is very pleased with the worship and fasting done in this month and fulfills all the wishes.

According to Drik Panchang, in the year 2026, the month of Shiva ji will start from 30th July and will continue till 28th August. The month of Saavan is considered very important in astrology and Vastu Shastra. However, according to astrology and Vastu, some things must be kept in mind before the start of Saavan. So that every kind of negativity is removed from the house. Before the arrival of Sawan, clean the house and throw out some things. Let us know about these things.

Remove these things before Sawan

Dried Basil: The month of Saavan is considered the time of greenery and blossoming of nature. If the basil plant in the house has dried up, then before the beginning of this month, remove it respectfully from the house or bury it in the soil. If any other plant in the garden has dried up, remove it from the house before the arrival of Sawan.

Broken utensils: Before the month of Sawan, throw out the broken utensils and cracked mirrors lying in the house. These things spoil the Vaastu of the house and cause financial loss. Due to these things, an atmosphere of tension also arises in the family. There are obstacles in work.

Broken or dirty broom: Before the arrival of Sawan, remove broken or dirty broom from the house. If this is not done, poverty may prevail in the house and negativity may spread everywhere.

Defective electronic goods: Before the start of Sawan, remove the bad electronic items lying in the house like bad mixer, press, TV etc. If this is not done, negative energy may enter the entire house. People at home may face mental stress.

Burnt lamp or incense sticks: To get the blessings of Lord Shiva in Sawan, keep lit lamps or incense sticks out of the house because both these things are said to be symbols of impurity.
