‘E-Office’ created in 235 departments and offices

Let us tell you that with this modern digital system of online ‘e-office’ in Delhi, till now, 177 (about 75.3%) out of 235 departments, offices and institutions are using the e-office platform regularly. At the same time, out of 132 main government departments, 120 (about 91%) are completely connected to this digital system. Apart from this, 36 out of 55 public undertakings, boards, corporations and autonomous bodies, while 21 out of 48 universities and educational institutions have also adopted the e-office system.

More than 9.22 lakh e-receipts processed

On completion of one year, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta said that earlier most of the government work was done through paper files, but now file movement, correspondence and approvals are being done completely online. This has increased the speed of disposal of files, strengthened transparency and accountability and people have started getting government services on time. People no longer have to wait long. Also, people have to make rounds of the office every day. They get information about their work through phone. That is, they get information about their work through the internet while sitting at home. More than 1.44 lakh e-files and more than 9.22 lakh e-receipts have been processed through this system in the last one year, indicating the growing acceptance of digital governance.
