According to the Meteorological Department, seasonal activities will continue continuously for the next few days. Heavy rains are expected in the next 24 hours in many parts of Maharashtra and Gujarat. Especially in Mumbai, it has been raining continuously for the last 4-5 days, due to which life has been badly affected.
Orange alert issued for Mumbai
Local train services were canceled, several flights were diverted and a holiday was declared in schools. Orange alert has been issued for Mumbai. The water level of rivers has increased in many districts including Ratnagiri.

There will be heavy rain in these states
On August 21, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan are expected to have strong winds and medium to heavy rains. Alert for thunderstorms has also been issued at many places. Delhi-NCR will have black cloudy and there may be showers on Thursday. Warnings of cloudburst, torrential rains and landslide are going on in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir. People have been appealed to avoid any trip or travel at the moment.
Alert of heavy rain in these states
The weather will also be bad in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. There is a warning of heavy to heavy rains in many states including Sikkim, Odisha and West Bengal in the Northeast. On August 22, 23, 24 and 25, black cloudy will be cloudy and many areas are expected to have moderate rainfall. The Meteorological Department has advised people to take precautions and avoid unnecessary exit.
