Ways to grow ginger other than water
in pot soil– This is the easiest way. Plant the ginger piece 2-3 inches deep in drained soil. Always keep the soil moist. Keep the pot in a place where filtered light comes in instead of bright sunlight.
Grown in coco peat- Cocopeat retains moisture for a long time. Due to which ginger germinates quickly. In this, the problem of water logging is less and the roots do not rot.
Germinate wet tissue paper- If you want to remove the sprouts first, wrap the ginger in slightly wet tissue paper and keep it in a box. Seedlings will start emerging in 15 days. After this you plant it in a pot.
coconut husk- Coconut husk is quite light and airy. It protects the roots from rotting and also maintains moisture.
LECA Clay Balls- If you like to grow plants without soil then this is the best method. LECA clay balls can be used to grow ginger. Keep the ginger in such a way that there is slight moisture at the bottom and the upper part remains in the air. Due to this the roots grow easily.
