World Larget Renewable Energy Park in Kutch
Adani Green Energy is constructing the world’s largest renewable park in Khawda area of Kutch district of Gujarat. So big that it can also be seen from space. Recently, on the 75th Foundation Day of IIT Kharagpur, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani put this special information in front of everyone. He told that this park will be spread over 500 square kilometers and its capacity will be 30 gigawatts. Such a big and powerful renewable energy park is being built in India for the first time and this will change the country’s energy needs. Gautam Adani also said that India will be at the forefront of the world in the field of renewable energy by 2030. He believes that India’s growing strength in renewable energy will strengthen the country’s identity globally in the coming years.
IIT Kharagpur youth are making technical magic
Adani praised the students of IIT Kharagpur fiercely. He said that these students are preparing smart solutions for grid balance with the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence), which will help in energy saving and better management. Also, they are making such tools to take care of machines in real time, which will make power generation work easier. IIT engineers are going to give new direction to the energy sector using IOT and intelligent technology.
Gautam Adani has also started a new fellowship program with IIT, named Adani-IIT Platinum Jubilee Change Makers Fellowship. This scheme will give the promising engineers of the country a chance to work on big and important projects so that the youth talent can contribute to the development of the country.
This renewable energy park with 30 gigawatt capacity will meet India’s energy needs as well as create a global image of the country’s clean energy. This will reduce pollution and thousands of people will also get employment opportunities. Also, India will be able to fulfill its climate commitments on time.
It is worth noting that Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani had told in the annual meeting of the company in June that his goal is to produce 50 GW renewable energy by 2030. He also said that this project proves that both development and protection of the environment can run together.
100 gigawatt power generation target
Adani further stated that his company is planning to produce a total of 100 ggwatt power by 2030 with a combination of thermal, renewable and hydro energy. This means that to meet the demand for energy in the country, adequate electricity will be generated from different sources and India’s energy security will be strengthened.
