Pune: With every passing day, such shocking revelations are being made in the Lohagarh Fort murder case, which have stunned even the police and law experts. Refusal from the marriage to be held in November was not the only reason behind the murder of 25 year old real estate businessman Ketan Aggarwal, but behind it, ‘such a bloody game of money’ was being played that even the imagination gives goosebumps. According to the officials involved in the financial investigation, a big ‘money trail’ (financial connection) has now come to light in this murder case, which has completely exposed the cruelty of the accused, 20-year-old Siya Goyal and her alleged lover, 22-year-old Chetan Choudhary.

According to information received from police sources, Ketan Aggarwal had given a huge amount of around Rs 1 crore to his fiancee Siya Goyal for the lavish expenses and preparations related to the wedding. Ketan had no idea that the girl whom he was going to make his life partner, was securing her lover’s future with the money given by him. Scary funding of business and career: Investigators claim that Sia did not spend even a single part of this huge amount in the wedding preparations. Instead, the entire amount was secretly transferred to co-accused Chetan Chaudhary. Chetan was planning to set up his career and start a new business with this Rs 1 crore, so that he could become financially strong.
‘3-year masterplan’ after the murder: The secret blueprint to avoid suspicion
The investigating officers claim that Sia and Chetan had not only planned to remove Ketan from the way, but had also prepared a complete plan for his life thereafter. According to their planning, after proving Ketan’s murder at Lohagarh Fort on June 18 as ‘an accident’, both of them were to remain completely separated from each other for the next three years. He wanted that the attention of the police and media should be completely diverted from this case for a long period of three years. During this time, Chetan would have built his business empire with Ketan’s own Rs 1 crore. After this, both of them would act in front of Sia’s family as if they have now started liking each other, and get married with pomp and show with the approval of the family.
Excuse of drinking water and ‘Death Signal’: Siya was afraid to even touch Ketan!
According to the reports of police and PTI, the conspiracy was carried out in a very vicious manner on the day of the incident on June 18. The pair had created a ‘special death signal’ to determine the exact time of the attack. According to the plan, Siya had to go near a deep ditch and either pretend to sit and drink water or pretend to tie her shoelaces.

As soon as Siya gave this signal, Chetan, who was hiding behind, pushed Ketan hard. The police officer said that this signal was deliberately chosen in such a way that Siya remained far away from Ketan’s reach while pushing. The murderous couple were afraid that if Chetan pushed Ketan and Ketan, in agony while falling, tried to catch hold of Sia to save herself, Sia might also fall into the ditch below. This entire planning was done keeping Sia’s safety in mind.
90 kilometer journey, closed internet and that last 34 minute call
The cunningness of the accused can be gauged from the fact that on the day of the incident, at around 7 am, Chetan Choudhary had completely switched off the internet of his mobile so that his digital location could not be traced. Not only this, he traveled about 90 kilometers from Pune to Lohagarh Fort on a scooter instead of a car, so that he could save his vehicle from the CCTV cameras and number plate recognition system of the toll plaza on the way. The police have now confiscated that scooter. Along with this, the call detail record (CDR) has revealed that Sia had called Chetan exactly 34 minutes before the murder, which was the last communication between the two before committing this horrific crime. At present, both the accused are behind the bars, and the police is preparing to present strong digital evidence of this money trail of Rs 1 crore in the court so that both of them can be given the harshest punishment.
