In Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met Governor Mangubhai Patel and discussed UCC, employment, investment, GI tag, solar energy and development schemes.
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav paid a courtesy call on Governor Mangubhai Patel at Lok Bhavan in the capital Bhopal on Sunday, June 29. During this, many important topics including development of the state, employment, investment and Uniform Civil Code (UCC) were discussed in detail between the two. The Chief Minister also informed the Governor about the progress and upcoming action plans of various schemes of the state government.
Information given on more than 9 lakh suggestions on Uniform Civil Code (UCC)
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that he informed Governor Mangubhai Patel about more than 9 lakh suggestions received towards implementing Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Madhya Pradesh. He said that there has been widespread public support from the people of the state on this issue. Besides, detailed information about the government’s upcoming strategy and action plan regarding UCC was also shared.
Detailed discussion was also held on employment, investment and industrial development.
The Chief Minister also discussed with the Governor various aspects related to increasing new employment opportunities in the state, encouraging industrial investment and accelerating economic activities. He said that the government is making continuous efforts to attract investment as well as giving priority to employment generation for the youth.

Information given about Jal Ganga Enhancement Campaign and Guru Purnima programs
During the meeting, the Chief Minister informed the Governor about the successful operation of Jal Ganga Augmentation Abhiyan and its positive results. Apart from this, he was also informed about the outline of educational, cultural and social programs to be organized during Guru Purnima Fortnight.
Discussion took place on GI tag, solar energy and promotion of start-ups.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the benefits to the farmers from the recent GI tag given to four agricultural produce of the state were also discussed. Along with this, efforts related to expansion of solar energy projects, promotion of MSMEs and start-ups, acceleration of industrial development and employment generation and various achievements of the government were also discussed in detail.
