Kondal On OTT: Antony Varghese and Shabeer Kallarakkal’s Malayalam action crime mystery drama was released in theatres on September 13. The movie received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics.
The Indian gross collection of the film is Rs 16 lakhs whereas the movie earned Rs 1.05 crore in Kerala. After its theatrical release, Konal is all set to make its digital debut. The movie has been directed by renowned filmmaker Ajith Mampally.

The story revolves around a young man named Manuel who leaves his hometown after facing troubles over there. He then was hired for St. Anthony’s boat at Munambam Harbor. But life takes a drastic turn after he joins in the new job. The movie stars Shabeer Kallarakkal, Antony Varghese, Gauthami Nair, Jaya Kurup, Pramod Veliyanad, Nandu Madhav and Manikanda Rajan in pivotal roles. The film was written by Ajith Mampally Roylin Robert and Satheesh Thonakkal. Kondal faced box office clashes with big movies like ARM, Kishkindha Kaandam, and Bad Boyz. The movie could not leave a mark on the ticket windows due to tough competition with ARM and Kishkindha Kaandam.
