Mahima Chaudhary was scolded by Subhash Ghai

When Mahima was asked how easy it was to focus on the scene after hearing so much abusive language, she agreed and recalled another incident that happened on the sets of ‘Pardes’, when Subhash Ghai scolded her before a shot. He said, ‘Sometimes getting scolded by someone proves helpful. The same thing happened to me during my first film. Subhash ji once scolded me a lot and then I did the phone scene, everyone liked that scene. They kind of made me cry. In that scene you had to cry and you are already crying, your voice becomes like that, so it was great, it helped.
