A girl used Google Pay to pay the fare to an auto driver, but the payment failed. She messaged the auto driver about this in Hindi, but she was surprised to see the reply he received.
An auto driver’s ‘corporate’ style message is being discussed a lot on social media. A girl named Nishtha Shetty has shared a video on Instagram, which has now gone viral. People are never tired of praising the professionalism of the auto driver.
What happened was that Nishtha sat in an auto to go to her office. To pay the rent, he paid through Google Pay, but due to some problem in the payment ID, it failed. After this, Nishtha messaged the driver in Hindi and said, ‘Payment failed, could not send money due to some ID problem.’
But the driver’s response to this message surprised Nishtha. The reply was so professional that even Nishtha had to reply in English.
The driver wrote in English: ‘If you want to come back by the same auto, I can come and pick you up. You can give the money when you return, will that be okay? Or I can come to where I dropped you. If you have cash, I will come there and get it.
Nishtha also started thinking after reading this message. He said jokingly in the video, ‘Why is he replying to any official email?’ Nishtha told that she got a little nervous after seeing the driver’s response and immediately replied in English, ‘Come back at 6 in the evening.’
The driver’s answer to this was even more amazing. He wrote in just one word – ‘Noted’. This term is often used in the corporate world, which means ‘your point has been noted’.
Nishtha also jokingly said that the driver’s professionalism is better than many people with whom she has worked. People are making funny comments on the video. One user wrote, ‘This auto driver’s LinkedIn profile should be made’. While another wrote, ‘The real corporate style is that last one ‘Noted’.’
