Roman Babushkin of the Russian Embassy in India opposed the tariffs imposed on India to buy Russian oil during a press conference and said that American pressure was wrong and unilateral. Roman Babushkin, criticizing the American ‘sanctions’ targeting India, described him as a “illegal competition” and a means of dual criteria. Babushkin said, “As we all know, restrictions are a weapon of illegal competition. It is always about double norms. It means that you can not do the big and important countries like Russia, which means that you can not do its tremendous energy from the global economy, which you can not do out of the world. Meaning that the restrictions fail and in addition, they affect those who are implementing them., “In addition Babushkin also informed that President Vladimir Putin is about to visit India by the end of this year.
