Not even a month has passed since the results of Panchayat elections came in Sundernagar area of Himachal Pradesh. Serious allegations against a newly elected Deputy Prime Minister have created a sensation in the area.
A woman has accused the newly elected Deputy Head of a Panchayat of BSL Colony area of police station, of rape, obscene acts, stalking and threatening to kill the family. Based on the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case and started investigation.
The accused was in contact for a long time, then started atrocitiesIn the complaint given to the police, the victim woman has said that the accused deputy head was in contact with her for a long time, but after some time he started harassing her continuously. The woman alleges that the accused forcibly had physical relations with her. After this he started mentally harassing her by calling continuously.
Threatened to defame by putting flex of photoAccording to the complaint, when the woman protested against these actions and words of the Deputy Chief, he resorted to blackmailing. The accused used to threaten her that he would defame her in the society and would make huge flexes of her photographs and put them in public places, so that her social reputation would be completely tarnished.
Threatened to kill husband and son alsoThe victim told the police that the accused did not stop at blackmailing only, but he also threatened to kill the woman’s husband and son. He constantly stalked the woman and used abusive and obscene words with her. Due to these actions of the Deputy Prime Minister, the victim and her entire family were forced to live under the shadow of terror and immense mental stress.
Police is thoroughly investigating every aspect of the case.Considering the seriousness of the woman’s complaint and allegations, BSL Colony police station has taken immediate action. Police have registered a case against the accused Deputy Prime Minister under sections 64(1) (rape), 78 (stalking), 352, 351(2) (criminal intimidation) and 333 of the Indian Justice Code. SP Vinod Kumar confirmed that the police is investigating every aspect of the case thoroughly. He clarified that on the basis of the facts emerging in the investigation, further strict legal action will be taken against the accused as per rules.
