Coimbatore is all set to become India’s pickleball hotspot as the Coimbatore Pickleball Open 2025, a PWR 200 event, begins on August 23 before culminating a day later at the Pickleball Clubhouse.
More than 300 participants are expected to battle it out among themselves for the massive prize pool of Rs 4 lakh along with goodies worth Rs 3 lakh on the line.
Coimbatore Pickleball Open 2025 is backed by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) and DUPR and hence promises exhilarating action across various categories that includes Open Men’s Singles, Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Intermediate Singles/Doubles, and 35+ events.
The breakdown of the prize money gives a clear picture of the competitive spirit: Rs 35,000 for winners in Open Doubles and Mixed Doubles, while categories like Men’s Singles and 35+ divisions will also see lucrative rewards for champions and runners-up.
