Lionel Messi completes his ‘Got India Tour 2025’. He visited 4 cities, which included celebrity matches and meeting personalities like Sachin Tendulkar. The tour concluded in Jamnagar hosted by Anant Ambani.

Jamnagar: Football legend Lionel Messi left from Jamnagar on Tuesday. He visited Vantara here, where the Argentinian footballer was hosted by Anant Ambani. Jamnagar was the last stop of Messi’s ‘Got India Tour 2025’. In this tour, the Argentinian footballer visited four cities of India – Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi. Delhi played host to the grand finale of the Argentinian footballer’s tour of India, bringing the historic four-city tour to a smooth and successful conclusion amid huge fan enthusiasm.

Messi, along with Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul, arrived in the national capital on December 15 after successful shows in Mumbai and the tour concluded with this stop in Delhi. A celebrity football match took place between Minerva Messi All Stars and Celebrity Messi All Stars in an on-field event at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. After the match, Lionel Messi came on the field and talked to the players of both the teams for a while.

He later spent some time with the young footballers, exchanging passes with Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul, giving the budding talent a memorable experience. The event concluded with a stage ceremony attended by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and other dignitaries, such as International Cricket Council (ICC) Chairman Jay Shah; Delhi and District Cricket Association President Rohan Jaitley; and former Indian football captain Bhaichung Bhutia.

During the ceremony, Jay Shah presented specially designed Indian cricket jerseys to Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul. After this, Messi was given a commemorative cricket bat signed by legendary Indian cricketers. During the Mumbai visit, the Argentinian football icon graced the Wankhede Stadium as part of his ‘Got India Tour 2025’. Messi, along with Suarez and De Paul, met Indian football legend Sunil Chhetri and cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar.

Messi’s second stop during the ‘Got India Tour 2025’ was Hyderabad. Fans gathered at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium got a chance to see Argentina’s FIFA World Cup winning icon Messi in action. Here he took part in a 7-on-7 exhibition football match with the state’s Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, was loved by the enthusiastic and boisterous crowd and also met the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi.

Messi’s Kolkata tour, the first stop of ‘Got Tour 2025′, ended in chaos. What was supposed to be a celebration of the World Cup-winning superstar with the football-loving state turned into a riot as VIPs and politicians reportedly present on the pitch fueled fans’ frustrations.
