Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav said in a press conference held at the party headquarters that as soon as the Samajwadi Party government is formed in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP government at the Center will also fall.
Recently, Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi had claimed that the central government will fall within a year, Akhilesh said this on a question related to this.
The SP chief accused the BJP government of carrying out fake encounters in UP. Presenting the figures, he claimed that most of the encounters and bulldozer action are being taken against the people of PDA community.
The SP chief said that nowadays a lot of news of fake encounters is being heard. The government is continuously plotting a fake encounter. Fake encounters are taking place as per the wish of the government. Encounters are being conducted in UP to establish their dominance. This government conducts encounters on the basis of caste.
He alleged that in the 10 years of the BJP government, the maximum atrocities have been committed on the PDA (Backward, Dalit and Minority) class. Most of the fake encounters have taken place with people of PDA category and such action is being taken with the aim of threatening them.
Referring to the Hathras case of the year 2020, he said that the same situation as was seen in Hathras is now visible in the year 2026 also. State daughters are unsafe. Law and order has completely failed in the state and fake encounters are being carried out under the patronage of the government.
On the power crisis, he said that the BJP government is responsible for this. People are suffering due to unannounced power cuts in the scorching heat. BJP has not done any work in the electricity sector in ten years. He alleged that BJP has looted the public only by increasing the electricity bill. Today the electricity available in the state is coming from the power plants installed during the SP government.
On the question of 12 years tenure of Narendra Modi government, he said that every day there is news of increase in the price of petrol etc., this is the achievement of the government. BJP has pushed the country into serious economic crisis. Inflation, unemployment and corruption have reached their peak. BJP is on the path of untruth. He said that the BJP government is also propagating fake economy like fake encounters. Its direct impact is on the general public.
