Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ has earned Rs 500 crore in 10 days. In the film, there was a dispute over the age difference between 40 year old Ranveer and 20 year old Sara Arjun. The casting director said that this was the demand of the story, which will be revealed in Part 2.

Sara Arjun is also in the lead role along with Ranveer Singh in this film. Where Ranveer Singh is 40 years old. Whereas Sara is only 20 years old. However, people are trolling a lot regarding the age difference between Ranveer and Sara. Now casting director of ‘Dhurandhar’ Mukesh Chhabra has broken his silence on this.
Mukesh Chhabra’s disclosure
Talking about this, Mukesh Chhabra said, ‘I was given very clear instructions that the story is that he is trying to trap her. So, we knew that we wanted a young girl of 20-21 years. When Part 2 comes, then those talking about the age difference will get all the answers. It is not that we do not have good actors aged 26-27 years. We have good actors, but this (age difference) was necessary in the film. Not everything can be explained to people. When I was also reading about the age difference, I was laughing. However, as per the direction of the film, it is correct.

Mukesh Chhabra further said, ‘My thought was that we are creating a new world. So we are doing surprise casting and the look of this girl should be completely new. Even though she has been a child actor and has worked in a few films, we wanted to give her a new look. I have been working with Sara for many years and she has been coming for auditions. She is really a very sweet girl. Mukesh further told that when Sara auditioned, he recognized the talent hidden behind her cute face. Talking about this, Mukesh said, ‘She is a great actress, you will get to see this in Part 2.’ Let us tell you that ‘Dhurandhar’ Part 2 will be released on 19 March 2026.
