The beginning of the T20 series between India and Ireland was very exciting, where the host team defeated India for the first time. But the moment that the fans were waiting for was not seen in the first T20 match and in the second match too, the fans were disappointed in this matter. Even in the second match of the series in Belfast, 15 year old star batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi did not debut. Team India gave a chance to 2 new players in this match but Vaibhav was not among them, which disappointed the Indian and local fans who reached Belfast. Even though Vaibhav did not get a chance, all-rounder Suryansh Shedge and fast bowler Prince Yadav made their debut for Team India.
In the second match of the series on Sunday 28th June in Belfast, there was uncertainty whether Vaibhav would get a chance in the second match after the failure of the batsmen in the first match or not. Just before the toss, in the huddle of Team India, T20I team caps were handed over to two new players but as soon as the picture became clear, it was revealed that Vaibhav was not among these two and once again he would have to watch the match sitting in the dressing room. But those who got the chance are also very special.
