Actor Satendra Soni has shared a shocking video on Instagram. He claimed he had a frightening experience while shooting for a film in Madhya Pradesh.
TheLaapataa Ladies actor alleged that when he asked for his pending payment, he was threatened and even assaulted by the film’s director. The emotional video has now gone viral and sparked concern among online users.
Satendra Soni Shares Emotional Video On Instagram
In the video, Satendra Soni broke down as he narrated what he says happened during the shoot of Ped Palkhi in Maihar, Madhya Pradesh.
According to the actor, he was paid a signing amount of ₹50,000 before the shoot began. The remaining payment, he claimed, was supposed to be cleared during the schedule. However, after completing eight days of filming, he alleged that he had still not received his dues.
Explaining the incident in the video, Satendra said that when he raised the issue of payment with director Pushpendra Singh, he was allegedly asked to pack up immediately and leave the hotel. He further claimed that the director threatened him, saying he should not be seen at the hotel and even allegedly threatened to kill him. Watch full video here:

In the caption accompanying the video, Satendra shared a longer account of the incident in Hindi. He claimed he later found out that several members of the film’s unit had also not been paid.
The actor further alleged that director Pushpendra Singh’s wife, actor Pragati Chauhan, verbally abused him. According to Satendra, as he, along with actors Shreedhar Dubey and Pankaj Sharma, was leaving the hotel, they were allegedly chased by the director and his wife in a car.
He went on to claim that both Pushpendra Singh and Pragati Chauhan assaulted him on the road. Satendra also alleged that when Shreedhar Dubey tried to intervene and stop the altercation, he too was assaulted.
Actor Says He Has Safely Returned To Mumbai
In another video posted on , Satendra Soni appeared alongside two fellow actors at a railway station after returning to Mumbai.
He thanked the Madhya Pradesh Police and everyone who helped ensure their safe return. The actor did not share any further updates on whether a formal complaint has been filed.
At the time of writing, Pushpendra Singh and Pragati Chauhan have not publicly responded to Satendra Soni’s allegations.
