Where when the constructed stadium was not operational for a long time, social worker Rajesh Dubey reached the stadium with musical instruments and due to his insistence on forcibly inaugurating it, ended up behind the bars.
Dada Sukhendra Singh Stadium of Satna, Madhya Pradesh has come into limelight even before its inauguration. The newly constructed stadium was lying closed for a long time awaiting inauguration. After making the announcement, city social worker Rajesh Dubey along with his colleagues reached the stadium with musical instruments. When an attempt was made to forcibly inaugurate the place, the police arrested four people including social worker Rajesh Dubey.
Social worker Rajesh Dubey alleged that a new stadium is ready in the middle of the city but due to the indifference of the mayor and the corporation administration, it has been closed for a long time. To provide the facilities of the stadium to the people of the city, he talked about inaugurating it and called the people on time. As per the announced program, Rajesh Dubey along with his supporters arrived to inaugurate the stadium with musical instruments.
In view of the forced inauguration program outside the stadium, the police had made tight security arrangements. CSP, TIs of all three police stations and heavy police force were present on the spot. Police have arrested Rajesh Dubey and four people. He has been sent to jail after taking action under section 170 of BNS. On the incident, SDM Rahul Silodiya said that some mischievous elements were obstructing the traffic at the gate in front of Dada Sukhendra Singh Stadium, against whom legal action has been taken.
