Ahmed-al-Ahmad works as a fruit seller
7News, a local news channel in Australia, identified the man as 43-year-old Ahmed-al-Ahmed, a fruit seller. The report said he was hit by two bullets during the attack. 7News channel spoke to a man named Mustafa, who identified himself as Ahmed’s cousin.
Ahmed is in the hospital
Ahmed’s cousin Mustafa said, “He is in the hospital right now and we don’t know exactly what is happening inside. We hope he will recover. He is 100% a hero.” It is said that he had no experience with guns. When the accident happened, Ahmed was passing by. Seeing people being attacked, he decided to intervene.
Australian PM Albanese also called him a ‘hero’
