On Sunday, the police seized the two-wheeler of accused Chetan Chaudhary. According to the police, accused Chetan had allegedly traveled from Pune to Lohagarh Fort on this bike.

Apart from the vehicle, the officers have also recovered the hoodie and headphones that the accused was wearing on the day of the incident. Lonavala Police has confirmed that forensic examination of the seized bike and the clothes of the accused has been done. Further information in the case is awaited. Earlier today, key accused Siya Goyal’s parents, Praveen Goyal and Pooja Goyal, were also called to Lonavala police station for questioning.

  • Ketan Aggarwal’s fiancee Siya Goyal and her friend Chetan Chaudhary were arrested on June 23. Both are currently in seven-day police custody till June 29 and further investigation is underway.

  • The decision was taken after the victim’s father met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Pune and pleaded for speedy justice in the case. The Chief Minister assured the family that strict action would be taken against the accused and the case would be fast-tracked.
