A sensational revelation has come to light regarding the murder of Anganwadi worker Anupama Patel in Varanasi. The woman was brutally murdered over a love affair, dispute over pregnancy and a conspiracy between husband and wife. The police arrested the accused couple within 24 hours.

This is the story of Anganwadi worker Anupama Patel, her lover Mohit Yadav and his wife Anjali Chauhan, where their love affair ultimately turns into a brutal murder.
The desire to have a child changed the direction of life
Anupama Patel alias Sita lived alone in Sharda Vihar Colony of Laxmanpur. She used to earn her living by selling packet milk from home. Despite being married, there was a void in his life – the lack of children. During this time, he got acquainted with Mohit Yadav, who lived on rent in the colony. While taking milk, the conversation increased and this closeness gradually reached physical relations.

Increased pressure and controversy regarding pregnancy
According to police investigation, Anupama wanted to get pregnant with Mohit, but Mohit was not ready for it. It is alleged that Anupama started putting constant pressure on this issue and started threatening to implicate her in the police if she refused. Meanwhile, Mohit got married to Anjali Chauhan, but even after this the pressure on Anupama did not end.
Troubled by the situation, Mohit told the whole truth to his wife Anjali. Both of them together conspired to remove Anupama from the way. As per the plan, on the morning of 11th December, both of them stayed at Mishra Home Stay in Pandeypur. After this, Anjali stopped at some distance from the house, while Mohit entered Anupama’s house from the back door.
Attacked with cob and drum, police solved the case within 24 hours
Inside the house, Mohit attacked Anupama’s head, face and neck with a stone slab and a steel drum, due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, both of them together tried to give the incident the appearance of robbery. They fled with gold jewellery, mobile phone and cash from the body of the deceased.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police came into action. ADCP Varuna Zone Neetu Katyan said that within 24 hours the accused husband-wife Mohit Yadav and Anjali Chauhan were arrested. Police have recovered blood stained clothes, looted gold jewellery, mobile phones and Rs 73,640 in cash from them.
It has been decided to give a reward of Rs 50,000 to the police team that played an important role in uncovering this sensational murder case. At present, both the accused have been sent to jail and further legal action is going on in the case.
