Mukesh Ambani’s company Reliance Industries FMCG Unit Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) has made a new deal. This time, he has bought a big stake in Natcher’s Beverages, a company that makes herbs and Ayurvedic based drinks. After this deal, Ambani’s company has now landed in the fast growing health and wellness drink market. Mukesh Ambani will now sell health drinks made of herbs.
RCPL reported that this partnership will help them to create a full-fledged beverage company. Actually, Nacharge Beverages is a company that makes functional drinks. These drinks are especially used in increasing energy, focusing and improving digestion. Reliance has already brought many big brands in the drink segment. These include Campa (carbonated drinks), Socio soft drinks, sports drink spinner and fruit-based brand raskic. Now, by adding Ayurvedic and herb products, the portfolio of RCPL will get further strengthened.
When did the company start
Natcheries Beverages started in 2018. It was launched by Siddhesh Sharma, the third generation entrepreneur of Baidyanath Group. The objective of this company is to connect Indian Ayurveda with modern drink options, so that the youth are also attracted to healthy drinks. His main product is zero. It is a herbal drink that has neither sugar nor calories. Ayurvedic herbs like Ashwagandha, Brahmi, Khas, Kokum and Green Tea have been used in zero. This drink not only gives energy to the body, but also helps people to stay healthy and fit. Market experts say that health and functional beverage sector will grow very fast in the coming years. In such a situation, this step of Ambani can prove to be a game changer for Reliance.
