A case of beating of army soldiers on toll in Meerut, UP was reported. The incident took place at the roasted toll plaza of Meerut Karnal Highway. The jawan was going to complete the holiday, meanwhile, the toll workers beat him up badly. People who came to save the jawan were also assaulted. After the incident, the next day Somavar, the locals, sat on the road and expressed their displeasure and demanded action in the incident.
