Ketan Agrawal Murder Case: A new update has come in the famous Ketan Agrawal murder case of Pune and Lonavala. That means now Sia Goyal’s family has entered it. The entire family has reached the police station.
Lonavala (Maharashtra): As the investigation of Ketan Aggarwal murder case is progressing, new twists are coming in it. On Saturday, the parents of Siya Goyal, the main accused in the case, Praveen Goyal and Pooja Goyal, reached Lonavala police station.
This case is being investigated from the angle of murder. Ketan’s fiancee Siya Goyal and her friend Chetan Chaudhary have already been arrested and are currently in police custody.

- Initially it was reported that Ketan Aggarwal had died after falling from Lohagarh Fort near Pune on June 18, after which a case was registered. But in the investigation by Lonavala Rural Police, the needle of suspicion went to Ketan’s fiancee Siya. Police suspect that the main accused Siya Goyal did not want to get married and was under pressure from the family.
- Ketan’s fiancee Siya Goyal and her friend Chetan Chaudhary were arrested on June 23. They are in seven-day police custody till June 29 while further investigation is underway.

He said a strong message should be sent to the youth so that “fear of law” is instilled in them and such incidents do not happen in future.
- Shaina told ANI, “The Mahayuti leadership will ensure that the Agarwal family gets justice. A strong message should be sent to the youth that there must be fear of the law, so that such incidents do not happen again… As a society, we also need to think about what our youth are thinking…”
Lawyer and MP Ujjwal Nikam will tell the whole truth
On Friday, the Maharashtra government approved the creation of a fast-track court to hear the case. Also, senior lawyer and Rajya Sabha MP Ujjwal Nikam has been appointed Special Public Prosecutor.
The decision was taken when victim Ketan’s father Vishal Aggarwal met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Pune and pleaded for speedy justice in the case. The Chief Minister assured the family that strict action would be taken against the accused and the case would be prosecuted on fast-track.

During the meeting, the victim’s father Vishal Aggarwal demanded death penalty for the accused. He also said that he has received information that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has also been formed in this case. He said, “I have requested the CM that the accused should at least get death sentence. The CM has assured me that this case will be fast-tracked. I have been told that an SIT has been formed in the case.
