Vaibhav Suryavanshi 171 runs in U19 Asia Cup 2025: 14 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi once again proved that age is just a number. In the first match of ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup 2025 against UAE, Vaibhav created such a storm that the entire cricket world kept watching. Vaibhav Suryavanshi hit sixes in this match and played the biggest innings of his Youth ODI career. He also joined a special list of Youth ODI cricket.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s biggest innings
The beginning of this tournament was very good for Vaibhav Suryavanshi. He played a century innings in his very first match. Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who came to open, scored his century in just 56 balls, then crossed the mark of 150 runs in 84 balls and finally left the field after playing an explosive innings of 171 runs. This was the biggest innings of his Youth ODI career. Before this, his best inning was 143 runs played against England Under-19 this year. That means he achieved the feat of scoring 150 runs for the first time.
During this innings, Vaibhav Suryavanshi showed explosive style against every bowler of UAE. His innings included 9 fours and 14 sixes, which is also a world record. Earlier, no player had hit more than 10 sixes in the Youth ODI match, but Vaibhav Suryavanshi made this record in his name with 14 sixes. Not only this, Vaibhav Suryavanshi also became only the 7th Indian player to score 150 runs in Youth ODI.
Bat spits fire against UAE
This is not the first big innings of Vaibhav Suryavanshi against UAE team. He plays big innings against this team every time. In the previous also, in the Under-19 Asia Cup, Vaibhav Suryavanshi had played an unbeaten inning of 76 runs against the UAE team and led the team to a strong victory. At the same time, recently in the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025, he also scored 144 runs against UAE.
